Cozy Games For When You Just Want To Relax

Some evenings you don't want a challenge. You want a game that lets you exhale, and cozy sims are perfect for that.

Skybloom Farmstead is my current comfort pick. The floating-island farm is charming, the neighbors are sweet, and nothing about it nags you to hurry.

Big Bass Splash fits this mood too, in its own quiet way. A few casts of the line and I feel unwound, which is really all I ask from a wind-down game.

The trick with cozy games is generous pacing. If a game punishes you for stepping away, it isn't relaxing — it's just a job with nicer art.
